The EDUFI Fellowship is intended, particularly, for providing initial funding to carry out research for a doctoral thesis in Finland. We have attracted excellent young researchers to Finland with the fellowship, the majority of whom have also managed to secure further funding for their research.

Eligibility for the EDUFI Fellowship:

The applicant must be a Finnish university representative.
The applicant must host the research fellow.
Candidate must commit to common objectives with the research fellow.
Applicant should offer facilities and equipment for the use of the research fellow.
The candidate should supervise the research.

Application Process:

Applications should be submitted on the attached EDUFI Fellowship application form.
Applications can only be submitted by representatives of Finnish universities.
The following attachments are required:
- Applicant’s motivation
- Complete the Curriculum Vitae of the scholarship candidate
- Research plan

Value of the Grant:

The successful candidates are granted EUR 1,900 per month.
