The Government of UT Lakshadweep has launched the Lakshadweep Scholarship Scheme 2024 to provide financial assistance to students in the state who are studying post-matriculation education. The goal of the scholarship is to guarantee that no student will be denied the opportunity to pursue an academic career only because of their poverty. Along with additional perks, the chosen students will receive a monthly stipend of up to INR 3,000.

Eligibility Criteria for Lakshadweep Scholarship Scheme 2025:

Students need to be a domicile of Lakshadweep.
Students should be pursuing studies at the post-matric level (Class 11 and above) from a recognized institution of the state.
Students should have cleared matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination from a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education.

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form ONLINE only.

Domicile certificate
A passport-size photograph
Aadhaar card/enrolment ID
Certificate/degree/diploma for all the examinations passed
Student's bank account number and IFSC code of the bank branch
