The Leakey Foundation is offering grants for advanced doctoral students and established scientists to pursue research related specifically to human origins. Leakey Foundation Research Grants are awarded twice annually.

Eligibility for Leakey Foundation Research Grants:

Applicants must be advanced doctoral students and established scientists.
Applicants can be of any nationality.
Applicants who are high school and undergraduate college students are not eligible.
Applicants must be affiliated with an institution such as a university or museum.
Applicants are encouraged to reapply.

Value of the Grants:

Successful candidates are awarded the following benefits:
- Up to USD 20,000 for PhD candidates
- Up to USD 30,000 for post-PhD researchers.
