Monash University Malaysia Graduate Research Excellence Scholarship 2025

Monash Malaysia is offering a Graduate Research Excellence Scholarship for new and current research students. The scholarship grants a tuition fee waiver to the selected candidates.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must possess a minimum academic qualification of First Class Honours (H1) or its equivalent (H1E) recognized by Monash Malaysia.
• Applicants must meet the minimum admission (academic and English language proficiency) and scholarship eligibility requirements.
• The award of scholarships is based on an applicant’s academic record, research output, and/or prior research experience.
• Applicants who receive a scholarship/financial assistance from an external sponsor(s) must obtain prior approval from the scholarship office. The 
• Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis.

Application Process:

Applicants are automatically considered for the scholarship at the time of admission.

Value of the Scholarship:

• The selected candidates are offered a 100% tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend of MYR 2,850.
  • Research master's degree students are awarded for two years of the program.
  • Doctoral degree applicants are awarded for three years, or six months until the scholarship end date or upon thesis submission, whichever is earlier.
