Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarships for International Students in Japan are provided by the Japan Student Services Organization to students who have enrolled themselves for an undergraduate or graduate course in Japan.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have an offer letter for enrollment in a graduate school, undergraduate school, junior college, college of technology (3rd grade or upper), or specialized course in a specialized training college in Japan.
Applicants must be international students.
Applicants must exhibit superior academic standing.
Applicants must surpass the admission requirements set by the university.

Application Process:

Interested candidates must request their host institution to enroll in the scholarship program.

Value of the Scholarship:

All successful applicants will receive a sum of JPY 48,000 per month.
