However, securing a fully funded scholarship can be quite difficult due to high competition. Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships are open to domestic and foreign students applying for HDRs.

Eligibility criteria for the Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships:

Candidates applying for Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships must either be domestic or international students enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at any Australian Higher Education Provider (HEP).
Applicants must not be receiving funding from any other sources if income is greater than 75% of that applicant's RTP Stipend rate during their study to support their general living costs.
Applicants of Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships must not be in receipt of an equivalent scholarship/award from the Commonwealth.
The maximum duration of the scholarship is 2 years for research masters while for doctoral programs, it's 3-4 years.

Value of the Scholarship:

This scholarship offers

Tuition Fee
stipend for general living costs of up to AUD 33,511
allowance related to the ancillary cost of research degrees.
