Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program Chinese Government Scholarship 2025

To foster global governance talents with a wide international perspective, exceptional comprehensive skills, outstanding leadership abilities, and a multicultural background, the China Scholarship Council has implemented the Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be under the age of 45.
• The applicant must be in good health both mentally and physically.
• The applicant must have a bachelor's degree or higher degree and at least three years of work experience.
• The applicant must belong to one of the following categories:
  • A government official at the division chief level (or equivalent level) or above,
  • A senior manager of an institution or enterprise,
  • An administrator of a university or scientific research institution.
  • Those who have relevant employment or internship experience in international organizations.

Application Process:

Applicants should log on to the Chinese Government Scholarship System and submit the online application.

Value of the Scholarship:

Selected candidates are awarded full scholarships.

Note: Applicants should have received a pre-admission letter from one of the subprograms at least when they apply.
